Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 f***, that was a good pitch by the Beeg, hats off to Betts on that hit.
wk680 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 So do we have a chance to set the record for shortest game day thread ever on this forum? I believe Sanchez is starting for Buffalo today. Let's hope for a good outing and successful return to the Jays next week.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 2, 2017 Author Posted July 2, 2017 It's amazing what the red sox can do without relying on the HR lol

M.E. Verified Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 2-5 since the Osuna anxiety game and it looks like 2-6 is coming. Was that the death nail for the season?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Smoak having himself a 1st half. Keep it rollin

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 It's amazing what the red sox can do without relying on the HR lol Nothing wrong with home runs. In fact they are the best possible contact. But when you don't do much else well on contact it's an issue. I still f***ing hate bunting.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 A run has scored. Time to celebrate!

You could also point to Friday when the Jays got off to a 3-0 lead against has-been Fister but failed to add on and ended up losing in extra innings after Estrada (also looking like a has-been lately) had another rough outing.

The nail was most likely Ubaldo
BillBucknorslegs Verified Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Not to nitpick, but shouldn't it be death knell? Y'know as in 'never send to know for whom the bell tolls, It tolls for the 2017 Blue Jays?'
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 2-5 since the Osuna anxiety game and it looks like 2-6 is coming. Was that the death nail for the season? The good thing is, we're only 4.5 out of the second wildcard (and 7.5 back in the division if we win today). That's is definitely recoverable. As poorly as we've played, we certainly aren't alone. The bad thing is, we look like s*** right now. We deserve to be losing these games.

True but just because we can go for it, should we? Are we just delaying the inevitable? The next couple of years will be the true test of the Shatkins era in which they can put their "own" fingerprint on the team.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Error in left field, predictable..... hold on it's not our LF!
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 And a get it done league double play. Sorry, couldn't help myself.
