Gibbons proving once again that he's just good for putting out a lineup. When the hick has to think, he's a liability.

Of course it's Gibby who gets blamed because his players are s*** at bunting..... Logic

Maybe if his players suck at bunting maybe he should stop putting the bunt on. #Logic

Gibbons is insane. Keeps calling for bunts and expects a different result.

As much as Goins sucks with the bat overall, he had the platoon advantage and he would have been bunting for Barney, who didn't.

Stupid call

What? Coaching things like this should be on the manager, especially with role guys like Goins. He's been making him bunt for the past 2 years he should have it down to a T right now

Last time I checked Gibby didn't make roster moves, correct me if I'm wrong?

Has Gibbons had an aneurysm? I was a big fan of his because he didn't bunt often and avoided all of that "fundamental baseball" stuff that old *******s like that actually costs the team outs and runs... WHY ARE THEY BUNTING SO GODDAMN MUCH? Also, as an aside, why is he giving everyone on the team the green light to swing 3-0?

I don't always agree with Zaun, but he couldn't be more right with regards to bunting. Guys like Goins should be ready to bunt. Square around early and get a good angle, you learn that in little league.

Also...Travis looks like he has a tight hamstring. Talked to the trainer after the failed suicide squueze/rundown and then grabbed it a little after the infield single

Guys like Goins should be enjoying accolades as the best player on their independent baseball league team.

Yes, Goins should be good at bunting. No Gibbons shouldn't have called for it in that situation.

I'm curious when you think is a good situation to bunt if not that one

Anyone notice Travis grab the back of his leg after hitting 1st base? DL soon I'm sure.

Don't think so with the DL, if it was anything other than just a little sore they would have put Coghlan at 2nd and Smith in the OF
