He will make a fine New York Yankee I'm sure.

 

If he is willing to forgo that much money, then he might go to the team he is most comfortable with. The Yankees may throw the most money but are they the most competitive? He could go to Chicago or the Dodgers and it wouldn't break the bank. He'll probably get a record signing bonus but still, he'll be relatively cheap.
