pickoff22 Verified Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 On Rotoworld it lists a mutual option with a 1.5 mil buyout after this year. I don't see this on any other website and hadn't seen this before (and can't be bothered to read the entire thread about his signing to try to find any mention). Is this legit? http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/777/kendrys-morales

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 AFAIK, Shapiro doesn't do player options of any kind. He's all about cost certainty.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 Low risk moves will almost always yield low returns. Morales will not be worth 2 wins ( total ) over the life of the contract

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 How often are mutual options accepted? Seems like a wasted exercise since one side will always decline if the value isn't on their side.
