Last 3 years of Reddick gets you this vs Lhp 202ave, 265 obp, 534ops\ Rhp 249 Ave, 305 obp, 714 ops

Total 258ave, 313 obp, 734 ops for 12 - 17 mil and I need a platoon partner to play and pay to boot.

 

Angel pagen might cost less and has a better fielding percentage in all fields career wise and is a switch hitter who has stolen 43 bases over the last 3 years. Doesn't need a platoon partner, ya dig?

What the hell are you talking about? Reddick's last 3 years vs righties he's put up a .297 average, .355 obp, .492 slg, .847 OPS and a 136 wRC+.

Your numbers on Reddick are wrong there. vs RHP the last 3 years he's hit .297/.355/.492 (.847 OPS).

 

Having the extra almost 150 points of OPS against righties is huge, since you do face a lot more righties than lefties, but yeah, the fact that you have to replace him if the other team brings in a lefty in a tough spot certainly does drop his value. But it is certainly nice to get the extra offense against righties, since if you can get enough runs on the board early in a game, it doesn't really matter if they bring in a lefty later since you'll already be ahead. I'd rather get a guy who can play every day, but especially with a guy like Upton on the bench who should only play against lefties anyways, we've got one roster spot in the OF for a platoon.

Correct whoops I drifted up to Desmond but I still do not want a platoon, especially in the outfield Fourth outfielder needs to play every field and hit both Lhp and Rhp pitching better then him and Upton can!

 

Upton should be traded for something nice since he basically free!

It's nearly impossible to get that player as a 4th outfielder, because they'd be a regular.

 

Upton and Reddick combined probably give you a roughly 130 wRC+ player and somewhere in the 3.5 WAR range.
