Dan Shulman Appreciation Thread

One of the highlights of the season (among many) was the return of the greatest TV announcer in Blue Jays history after a 14 year hiatus. Though he only gave us about 30 games, with the same coming next year, he delivered some truly world class broadcasts this year.

 

Anyone who suffered through the play by play doldrums of 2002 onward knows what it was like to yearn for the return of Dan and Buck. But everyone knew it was never going to happen; that era of great TV was over, and it was as much of a pipe dream as waiting for an ex girlfriend to come knocking on your door.

 

So, as a toast to Dan Shulman, and hopefully many more years to come, I present the following tribute:
