He's hitting the ball 25% of the time . He should bunt the silly line that it's not his game is just that, silly. He ain't gonna do nothing mo likely than not.

It's called observations....why is that not allowed? Only positivity allowed or something? I don't get why some of you get so worked up over randoms peoples thoughts. Boston has not overtaken us because their pitching was a dumpster fire for 100 games, what does that have to do with our offensive approach? The irony is you are the one complaining, complaining about complaining, that's productive.

It's allowed but so is criticism, which is what I'm doing. Don't take offence to this stuff it's just discussion. Boston has an elite offence but they're not the same team as us. You expect Bautista, EE, Martin, Saunders - all pull hitters to start slapping the ball and playing to their weakness? Why don't we try stealing bases and get thrown out too? Might as well since we're not playing to our strengths. We're the second in baseball in homers and third in runs scored, our objective is to hit the ball hard and so far we're in first place.

EE, Saunders all have the ability to go oppo and have, they just don't do it only rarely, so does several other Jays hitters. It is going to be hard to win in the playoffs with that approach.

Haven't had a chance to catch any of the game on TV yet, how's Sanchez look? I noticed it looks a lot like last start with the walks being up a bit and very limited Ks.

Why we keep the same philosophy of hitting is dumb . Pitching is what got us here now it's regressing n we need offense to pick it up, but I ain't holding my breath that it will change .

He's been alright, not locating as well, but getting by. One mistake, if you just saw it.

Never played before... ORLY? Big league stuff coming in on the corner, breaks 8 feet before the plate when you have a 6th of a second to decide, simple- Gruber/Vialotor.

Look at that strike out pitch to EE again. The ball started six inches outside right out of his hand. I understand a well located tight slider is very difficult to square up.

Stop crying bro. Complains about people complaining ROFL. That irony. Some people get caught in the moment stop trying to dictate how people should act, this is not nazi germany.

The irony is all your posts in this thread are negative and complaining over things that didn't exist, practice what you preach.

The irony is you are the one complaining, over something that was never implied or said.

When you face a pitcher with nice control and consistently hitting the corners, which is the kind of pitchers we'll face in playoffs, hitting the other way makes the team better no matter what they did in regular season

Playing the shift with a man on and batters not taking the easy hit to put two men on with no out is beyond frustrating.

Well it's Smoak he can't hit much of anything well.

Jesus, give it a rest already

The Jays would be a better team if they could go opp and harder to pitch too, but some on this forum get upset because reasons if you suggest such a thing. Power doesn't go away if you go the other way.

Boston won in 2013, Yankees in 2009, before them the Phillies before them the Sox etc

Power teams historically do better. Only recently in the past 5 we've seen 4 being light hitting teams

2-1!!!

********** went oppo see that... 2-1 Jays!

Ugh..no one is saying to not pull if it's over the plate or inside, jesus, hit it were it is pitched, you learn that in in the minors.
