I just meant that based on your argument that it can't be proven. You make a statement that all rapists are evil. I argue that science can't prove they are evil, so it's an untrue statement. You can back up stats like the psychological effects to the victims and stuff like that which can be proven. But my argument back would remain...it doesn't prove that the rapist is evil. Moral and common sense tell us that I'd be an idiot in this argument...but I can keep saying the same thing.

We can prove that athletes are more athletic, throwing harder, and have more measurements to test that. But we can't prove your argument with numbers. So I'm going to come right out and say it! You are obviously a rapist sympathizer and f*** it a supporter of rape.

You can't live life with the mentality of a defense lawyer, it's pretty empty.

I'm sure throwing a baseball, is much easier than your example OF A DIFFERENT SPORT, but hey, have at it man. I'm done.

Good God, i'm done with this.

Jesus Spanky, i know this. This isn't relevant when it come to accuracy though.

This is just like in the NBA where free throw shooting isn't what it was. Are you going to say we should all assume this is a farce because the players are bigger, stronger and faster?

could that be perception? Hmmm lets look at the stats. Oh wait FT percentage hasn't really changed over the years at all.

The Rays really are s***, but bring out their best against us for some reason.

Dude, you truly are the archaic moron here, hope you look back say, tomorrow, and realize this. The quicker the better.

The funny thing is tomorrow will come and you will still be you.

I like Gruber's in game comments here and there, but these archaic views crack me up. f***ing Gold, really.

Remembering outfielder's arms being more accurate 20-30 years ago is hardly an archaic point of view. This is all i was saying but the situation got stretched out and exaggerated to the point where i should feel i have no right remembering anything like that unless i can back it up with concrete evidence.

Meh..

Arms are just as accurate. This is just another fallacy you believe, when you were young. There's better coaching, fundamentals, etc... you just seem to misremember.

Strength and accuracy are two separate skill sets!

More strength does not make you more accurate, it doesn't even mean you will or can throw a Ball further!

Just like some people are quick and some are fast, they are different and not the same, yet can appear similar but are not!

Yet 30 years down the road tells different. It's all quicker, faster, and a jettison arm is more accurate, because of being taught.

The athletes today are better all around. It's the age old Orr vs Gretzky etc. We will never know, but TV and software has allowed us to measure times on throws etc. I believe some of Puigs are of epic proportions.

His tosses, yes.

Can you not absorb the fact that accuracy and arm strength are two separate skill sets? Do you really also think the coaching of today is far superior to 30 years ago? I'm sorry but you're wrong except for the fact that players are definitely stronger now. As far as speed goes, there's not much if any difference in the above average runners 30 years ago vs today.

Yes, I know. Arms are just as accurate today, as in the past.

Yes.

No.

So what? Ball players as a whole are much quicker and faster today.
