jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Ryan Goins has a 324 Batting Average in Buffalo.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Matt Dominguez has 15 HR's in AAA this year.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Ryan Goins has a 324 Batting Average in Buffalo. Good point Montero is the very definition of a AAA hitter / AAAA player
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 We're just so tired of Smoak futility that we're desperate
WONDERBAT Verified Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Can't be any worse than Smoak.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 #threadworthy lol. I hope people realize just because Jesus Montero is hitting in AAA it does not mean he's going to hit in the MLB. Darrell Ceciliani had a 775 OPS in buffalo and has really struggled to hit so far in the MLB and he can play all three OF positions. Jesus Montero has a 785 OPS and can pretty much only DH. Do not want.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 We're just so tired of Smoak futility that we're desperate Oh yeah. That said, I'd gladly sacrifice Smoak's BB rate and power, for Montero's consistent contact at 1st.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Pompey OF, Saunders DH, EE 1B Much better on both sides of the diamond than Saunders OF, Smoak 1B, EE DH
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 More fun numbers. Jesus Montero 126 wRC+ in AAA Darrell Ceciliani 122 wRC+ in AAA Ryan Goins 146 wRC+ in AAA

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Montero can't hit fastballs over 92 MPH or breaking balls. He's garbage.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Montero can't hit fastballs over 92 MPH or breaking balls. He's garbage. He can hit fastballs. That's all he can hit but he can hit over 92 MPH fastballs too.

Guy still has not learnt how to hit. he cant possibly be worse than Smoak, even if he f***ing is, no harm no foul. Get smoak off this team hes a cancer. Stop being dumb.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 15 walks this season Walks are the only thing that makes a hitter good apparently....lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Walks are the only thing that makes a hitter good apparently....lol It's an important part of what makes most hitters good. If he swings at eveything teams will take advantage of that. Probably a big reason he's never had any success at the big league level. I doubt the Jays are even considering him. He was picked up for Buffalo.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
