harvey16 Verified Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 On a side note. Jays break 103 year old record with 61 Ks in a 4 game series, old record was 58. Astros Pitchers now hold the record for Ks in a 3 and 4 game series. Both records set this year, crazy!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 you're rude. Devon Travis is a young player who had a very bad game yesterday suggesting giving him a day off isn't asinine, regardless what happened today. Travis is our 2nd baseman and he will be an important part of the team for several years. Suggesting that he should be benched to "teach him a lesson" for having a bad day is stupid.
Seanie Verified Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 How do I view more t han 6 highlight videos for the game? When I go to this page, there are always only 6 videos: http://m.mlb.com/video/v1009950583/torhou-donaldson-makes-diving-stop-fires-to-second/?game_pk=448487

It was definitely an ugly series with all the Ks, but we were still able to win so I'm totally fine with that.

That said, Gibby knows Travis we dont, maybe hes the type of person who rebounds quickly.

Including game recaps a few hours after.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Nice win. Apprently we set some kind of strikeout record but we won 3 of 4 games so who gives a f***.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Royals are struggling... Duffy might push our s*** in though after what he did to tampa and how the team performed strike out wise in the series.

The funny thing is even with the Jays setting the MLB record for striking out in a 4 game series, it could just as easily have been done with the Jays winning all 4 games.
Baseball Player Verified Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Is something fishy with Minute Maid Park? (Other than the s***** steel girders that interfere with bip) Didn't Buck and Pat saying something like a couple teams set their strike out records in that park?

Who knows if that actually has a significant effect though.

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I spent a solid 10 minutes dying over Buck saying Jason Grizzly. GF, dog, cat all ready to have me committed.
