RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 He needs to be sent down after this one. Yep enough is enough now, He needs to go down and figure s*** out No point in wasting Hutch. Once Sanchez is at max innings, then they can look at bringing him back up
BlueJays Verified Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Did Stroman ever use a 4-seam in this game? When did he start using this 2-seam?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Stroman has to go back to being a 4 seam pitcher. He can not control the 2 seam. It's very similar to Sanchez last season. Can't throw it for a strike and when he does its up and moving more sideways then down.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 blowwwwww showwwwwww That can be said about the offense today as well.

Hayhurst could be correct, muscle confusion from his 2SM grip/toss is affecting his other pitches. He needs to go back to doing what brought him to the dance.

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 That can be said about the offense today as well. That can be said for just about any offence against Sale.
el duque Verified Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Sale's curve ball and fast ball come from the same arm movement, even on TV is confusing
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 At least end of day we are still in a playoff spot......but for how long.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 That can be said about the offense today as well. When Sanchez dominates a start, he's great. When a proven elite starter dominates the Jays, the batting lineup sucks. A lot of posters need some perspective on this game. And when I say 'game' I mean baseball in general and not just June 26 @ the White Sox.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 That can be said for just about any offence against Sale. This month KC and Detroit had a combined 20 hits and 9 runs off Sale in 12 innings...so he hasn't been that good. Heck those outings are very similar to Stroman today. Edit: towards the end of May the Indians scored 6 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks in 3.1 innings on Sale. Guy is not unhittable
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 World leaders in DP strikes again
el duque Verified Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Here we go again with the pulling and another DP, nobody was covering the right part, all he had to do is to wait on it and go the other way

If a pitcher continuously throws the ball outside and 8/9 hitters keep pulling the ball for gb outs. The pitcher didn't do a great job...the hitters did a horrible job.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 f*** every time we get a single, boom DP
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Dude, we get the point. We're all watching the game too. Hahaha!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 f*** every time we get a single, boom DP The approach from yesterday seems to have gone MIA

These professional hitters are all terrible. Sale couldn't possibly be deceptive, couldn't possibly be exploiting a strategy that has fuelled seasons worth of Cy-calibre performance.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Did Stroman ever use a 4-seam in this game? When did he start using this 2-seam? He did not throw a 4 seam from what I saw...and if you mean overall on the 2 seam...it was about a month or two after he came back up in his rookie season if I remember correctly.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Yeah, you're right. These professional hitters are all terrible. Sale couldn't possibly be deceptive, couldn't possibly be exploiting a strategy that has fuelled seasons worth of Cy-calibre performance. Sale isn't using the Philosophy from his Cy caliber seasons. He is using Stroman's philosophy of pitch to contact. According to you no one ever gets a hit off an ace. It's like these professional hitters are just bricks that are at the mercy of the amazing pitcher
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Stay hot Tulo!!!!! Jays are in flight!!!
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 The approach from yesterday seems to have gone MIA This is one of the most homer posts I've ever read. You're comparing the results of starts between Chris Sale and Miguel Gonzalez, who the Orioles didn't even want. Sale isn't using the Philosophy from his Cy caliber seasons. He is using Stroman's philosophy of pitch to contact. According to you no one ever gets a hit off an ace. It's like these professional hitters are just bricks that are at the mercy of the amazing pitcher And maybe because Sale is an elite talent he is better at executing whatever strategy he wants. And btw, he has 7Ks today. He can very much just do whatever he wants.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Well at least Tulo is continuing where he left off before getting injured.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Great follow up pillar!!! It's alright, Junior Lake's got this.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Wtf get someone in front of Donaldson or EE and tie the game
