Just pull the bandaid off. No need to baby the likely outcome.

 

Bautista, Edwin, Saunders, Cecil, Storen...could all be gone. I think Saunders is the most likely to re-sign because of the Canadian thing...but to me it's really 50/50. Cecil is probably 45/55 to re-sign I think. The other three will walk. Not sure why I'm including Storen in the list because...who cares really...but ya, I'm not expecting this to be an off-season where we retain much of our talent.

 

What we replace it with...who knows....but if we view Price as being replaced with Happ, I think that tells you what you need to know. We'll look for 'good value'. So, no stars, but solid contributors. And that's ok I guess...it's just not as sexy when you have less star power.
