Nobody shortens up and thinks line drive with RISP.

 

Horrible pitch Happ. Machado looked like he was looking change and got it.

Some of them have moreso lately. We have scored on Chapman, Betances and kimbrell by using RF. Just not consistently enough. It's like they only do it late in games against guys that throw 100.

O's are way better than us?

 

Certainly better than today's lineup with no Bautista or Martin.

3 more dingers off Happ..so far. Right after we leave more runners on. Tough to watch this.

 

When was the last time we score more than 5 runs...this offense is so frustrating and dragging us down. Opposite of the first half last season

Buck Showalter looked miserable even as a minor league player in 1980.

 

Russell Martin seems to have that same very serious, scolding look. Maybe Martin will be a manager someday, he has the baseball knowledge and stern look.
