Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Hopefully we're at least tied by the end of this inning
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 If you don't like it, pitch better. Well said
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I want to see Floydd or Chavez in the rotation even, Jays have so many options its foolish not to sent Stroman to AAA to fix himself.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I think this might be a good thing in the long run. Might show Stroman he has to get people out and limit baserunners...means K'ing more hitters instead of pitching to contact.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Clean inning cleaning inning clean inning!!!!
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I feel this is the turning point of Stroman's career.......ha
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I will say this. Stroman has had a much better changeup tonight.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I think this might be a good thing in the long run. Might show Stroman he has to get people out and limit baserunners...means K'ing more hitters instead of pitching to contact. And then he has an inning like this which sends the message to him that P2C works..
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 When was the last clean inning Stroman has had? Has to be a few starts ago. Or maybe there were a couple at some point in those. Seems like he's been giving up runners or runs every inning in each of his last three or four starts.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 The biggest issue with Stroman is he no longer looks dominating out there, and hasn't for the past 5 starts. I know. I'm just asking about the last clean inning.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 JD! Yikes, that was almost a disaster at 3rd there.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Thank you Trumbo!!!!! A triple two days in a row!!!!
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I know. I'm just asking about the last clean inning. For sure, I agree. At this point, if he won't properly commit to the suggestions that Walker, Tabler's sources, etc have given him, I don't know how he'll ever look good again?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Might be glad we didn't lock up Edwin.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I'm liking the approach yesterday and today. They're cutting down on their swings a bit and hitting the ball where it's pitched mainly. Gap to gap approach is not only a successful approach, it's entertaining to watch.
