I bought tix from the Jays site and stub hub both yesterday. The ones from stubhub look a bit different. They have a 12 digit barcode instead of 16, and the layout of the midsection of the ticket is different too. I thought it was because of the MLB integration and so the tickets were basically "reissued" when I bought them on SH, but from what I can tell the Jays aren't integrated, so it seems like the tickets should look like the ones I buy direct from the Jays. Wondering on the other hand if this is what seasons tickets look like (they do say STH on them). Have you bought Jays tix on stub hub? Did they have these differences from ones bought from the team site?

yeah, I know I won't be out money if they are fakes, but I will be out a game! I bought 2 sets and they are a gift for my husband and its gonna suck if we get there and get turned away. I'll get my money back but the gift and the day will be a bit of a bust!

You call their customer service line and they'll set you up with equivalent seats for the same game asap.

Hey folks, thanks for the feedback. A little more digging and it appears that the difference in format is accounted for by the fact that these are seasons ticket holder tickets I have purchased. Makes sense. BUT, now one more question arises. Bought two sets (two different games). Both have the sth format. However, the second set also has a price on the face. The first set do not. Hmmmm. A price showing on print-at-home seasons tickets? Odd? yes or no? Yes, a little paranoid, but that's just the way I am, so I appreciate your judgement-free help and advice!

Nothing but good things to say about my experiences with Stubhub.

About 8 years ago I was in Seattle for a series, when I got to gate I realized I left my tickets in hotel about 45 mins out of town (this was before all the tickets were electronic). Called StubHub customer service who sorted things out with the Mariners box office, and was though the gates within 10 minutes.

Bought tickets through them several time for all types of events and never had an issue once.

It is not odd that a price appears.

I've purchased and re-sold tickets through Stubhub lots of times and they are usually pretty good. As a buyer their customer service is pretty and even if you buy bad tickets they do their best to get you replacement tickets even if they are more expensive than the ones you originally purchased. As a seller the customer service can be bad depending on who you are talking to. The higher level management type is good but the low level employees can be a huge paid to deal with.
