Testicles Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Crosby just won it. You must be Canadian. Not Canadian, I just hate Pittsburgh. I'm a Ravens fan and my hatred of Pittsburgh spills over into other sports.
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I actually have a hard time disliking the Orioles except when they are winning. I use to like the O's until they got out of the basement and the fanbase become egotistical f***tards.
Testicles Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I use to like the O's until they got out of the basement and the fanbase become egotistical f***tards. Just imagine if the Expos never moved to DC and the O's didn't lose a ton of their DC fans. Then we'd REALLY have a fanbase full of egotistical f***tards.
Testicles Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 still hate the Yankees more I'm too young to remember the Yankees teams of the late 90s and early 2000s. Probably why I've always hated the Red Sox more.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 First time I've ever left a game early. What a disgusting effort that was. Not even the alcohol could help. I'm sorry to hear you had to witness that display.
Testicles Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I was a Bucks fan as a kid. I was a teenager when the jays came along. Bucks as in Pirates? My dad still nearly weeps every time he hears "We Are Family".

Then we'd REALLY have a fanbase full of egotistical f***tards. In 1994 the Expos had a team that could have won the pennant and possibly the World Series. It is too bad that Olympic Stadium and the cancelled 1994 season killed the Expos (although it took 10 years to finally happen). Otherwise I would still be an Expos fan living in the GTA.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I'm sorry to hear you had to witness that display. Well, we all did, but just in a different setting. At least the subway wasn't busy on the way home? Trying to find a positive here... It's weird because I've obviously been to s***** games before (May 8, 2007 always sticks in my mind), but there was something I just couldn't tolerate about it tonight.

nextyear Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Bucks as in Pirates? My dad still nearly weeps every time he hears "We Are Family". I remember that season (I think it was 1979 - 1980). The Expos and Pirates fought it out for the NL East pennant. Another heartbreaking season for Expos fans.
Testicles Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 is there another team in baseball referred to as the Bucks? I've always seen it spelled as "Bucs".

My wife and I were watching TV and the fact that she's never seen Top Gun came up in the conversation so we watched that instead. No regrets.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 On the plus side, this should really kill that fights breed chemistry and fire nonsense narrative.

nextyear Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) My wife and I were watching TV and the fact that she's never seen Top Gun came up in the conversation so we watched that instead. No regrets. My wife and I watched the final half of Airport '77 on Netflix, what a hoot. It had a bunch of actors that are never seen anymore like George Kennedy and Jack Lemmon (unfortunately they have moved on). The film makers were actually able to make a movie about passengers trapped underwater in a 747 seem somewhat realistic. Edited: It is actually called Airport '77. Edited May 17, 2016 by nextyear
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Well this is it right? in the midst of the lowest point of the season boys. Hopefully we dont get hit too hard with the suspension hammer as well. Its the end times.
nextyear Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 I would be happy if the Washington Gnats moved back. Probably won't happen, but I would like to see Montreal get an NL expansion team. I still don't like the designated hitter rule in the AL. I like your spelling of the Nats

Hopefully we dont get hit too hard with the suspension hammer as well. Its the end times. apparently Joe Torre is handing out the suspensions but wants to keep the list of suspensions fairly short. I think this makes the most sense since suspending JD, Pillar and Bautista really screws the Blue Jays for something that was started by the Rangers. Suspend Odor, Gibby and Bannister and give out big fines to JD and Pillar for storming the field.

nextyear Verified Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 My guess is that if the Blue Jays are playing below .500 at the end of June, Gibbons will be gone. This Blue Jays team seems to have no soul.

That apparently is the third movie in a series. Airport, Airport 1975, Airport '77. So if you liked it, give the others a shot. They actually seem worth a watch.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Graveman was far more valuable to the Blue Jays than Donaldson was. You had no reason to keep adding offense it was silly. I've been born correct as you see whats happening this year. The Jays and all their offense is going to finish 4th in the league. Then Jose and EE will leave in the offseason. Then what? THEN WHAT This might be the worst post in internet history. You're astonishingly stupid.
