Top two teams against LHP last year were far and away the Jays and Tigers. This year are a 95 and 42 wRC+ respectively.

Sanchez has been pitching like a #2 SP or borderline #1 so far this season

There's this weird cult of people who think that a rookie 2B with 80 games under is belt is the guy who will save the team over Troy Tulowitzki, Jose Bautista, Edwin Encarnacion, or Josh Donaldson.

 

Whatever these folks are smoking I don't want any. Probably pretty toxic.

Well said. I hope he can come back and add production, but expectations shouldn't be what he was to start 2015. Our vets are going to have to grind their way out of this.

Don't be dumb, he's not saviour but unequivocally the best option for 2nd we have in the organization

Well said. I hope he can come back and add some production, but expectations shouldn't be what he was to start 2015. Our vets are going to have to grind their way out of this.

 

Still, if he can fill a black hole in the lineup that could be the spark the team needs

I don't care anything about saving the team, they can finish last for all I care. Watching Goins gives me cancer.

No there isn't. People just want the best line up possible which includes Travis.
