RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Everything up. Hey Gibby.. Why not Floyd to start the eighth? Gibby didn't feel like Floydd today he relies on his guts
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Why, because he gave up a ground ball up the middle? He gave up 2 hits and they were hard hit balls.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 well I agree with the great career but that collision changed the rules of sliding for ever I think they're going to tweek that rule before it's all said and done.
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 He's got the best track record of any of our relievers and management isn't writing him off after a bad month. Your idea of fan vigilantism is just immature. Pretty sure that's Cecil and they gave up on him.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Floyd should have been used to start the 7th or eighth.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Oh, so NOW Floyd is in... you know, our 2nd best reliever? Not in the 8th up 2-1? What the f*** is wrong with you, Gibby...
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Lol now Floydd Holy f*** f*** this team
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Liam Hendriks would look good on this team right about now. Oh wait..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 He gave up 2 hits and they were hard hit balls. The second ground ball wasn't hit that hard. BABIP'd

Your idea of fan vigilantism is just immature. Management would be pretty dumb not to look at the warning signs he has been showing especially with his velocity being DRAMATICALLY down from his career lows not to even mention from last year. Off that he has been showing a lack of movement, control and swing and miss capability in the strike zone. Tons of warning signs to be worried about after a month regardless of track record that started all of the velocity issues which was apparent in spring training.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 To be frank, I don't see any other option. Sitting at home and doing nothing is your best option when it comes to what you can do to help the team.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 This mentality gets you a Top 10 pick (the sticking with him part) Exactly. Time to shake things up and make the "just kidding" guy the 8th inning reliever. I like his style.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Sitting at home and doing nothing is your best option when it comes to what you can do to help the team. That's not an option.
el duque Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 one option is to fire the whole bull pen and play every game with two starters

Not arguing with that, he asked for an explanation as to why they would put Storen in, and that's likely the only reason they could have at this point.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 That's not an option. I'm not going to engage in this juvenile discussion anymore, stupid is as stupid does.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 one option is to fire the whole bull pen and play every game with two starters Not a bad option imo. Won't happen, but with Hutch, Osuna, Floyd, Chavez, Biagini....its possible
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 That's why Floyd should have started the eighth. Hopefully the depth chart will now change.

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 maybe those pink bats are of no help
xposbrad Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 If someone can find JB's bat, it might be worth 100m, because he's not going to get anywhere near it without it.
