o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Atkins really needs to send him down. He's the anti- AA waiting too long for roster moves. Storen is an ex closer who is getting abused like a rental car
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Storen is an ex closer who is getting abused like a rental car Not Gibby's fault he's sucked. He was horrible since the moment he got to the Jays. He was even crap in ST with his velo way down.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 GM trades for Storen. Storen sucks. Blame the manager! Should have re-signed Lowe, and kept Revere. For the money we are paying storen we could have signed Lowe.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 I can't stand watching Venditte pitch. Reminds me of watching Jo-Jo Reyes.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how do they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they?
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Sorry to break it to you but Dickey is never 'rolling' hes either getting lucky or hes not. Sorry to break it you but he's throwing a knuckleball. There's never any certainty before any of Dickeys starts, that's why people like you hate him so much. O, accept the 200+ innings, that's a certainty and probably more valuable then all of us think.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Should have re-signed Lowe, and kept Revere. For the money we are paying storen we could have signed Lowe. Speaking of velo drops Lowe's is down 3 MPH too.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how to they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they? Cecil will probably be fine and Osuna is good, but the rest is a f***ing dumpster fire.
jackie Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 90MPH seems like the norm now for Storen. STOren's best pitch is his 83 mph slider. THat's his out pitch. His fastball is not his best pitch
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how to they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they? Girodo looks decent. Martin getting back healthy would be nice as well.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how to they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they? They probably won't. Our BP is garbage.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Not Gibby's fault he's sucked. He was horrible since the moment he got to the Jays. He was even crap in ST with his velo way down. not arguing with you on that. I'm just saying that he's getting the prison shower treatment every time he gets in a game. at some point you have to stop putting him in games. problem is that Cecil has been s***, the side show freak is being used improperly, Chavez has back problems and Storen can't get outs. makes the bullpen hard to manage.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how to they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they? DFA Venditte. Have Floyd/Chavez move into the setup role instead of Storen. Use Osuna for more than 3 outs.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 anyone know if they have replaced Tulo with Goins this game? they should
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Holy s***, they can't even get ONE out. ONE out FFS.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how to they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they? DL Storen, call up Girodo, relegate Venditte to mop up duty. Eventually Sanchez will join the bullpen if only to limit his innings. Chavez or Hutch gets the rotation spot.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Not sure why we sent Girodo down. He looked good in his limited time.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Someone tell me again how Dickey hasn't been that bad.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So Venditte HAS to be sent down after this game right?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Venditte is SO bad. Gets bailed out by Pillar
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Sorry to break it you but he's throwing a knuckleball. Is that not a valid reason to dislike a professional athlete? he's a gimmick pitcher getting paid millions. Also, i'm sure between Hutch/Chavez/Floyd can piece together 200 innings that would have way more upside than Dickey's coin toss starts (heads being 5 runs and tails being 4)
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 So how do they even begin to fix this bullpen or can/will they? They are stuck with this mess....gonna be a long season, shatkins will get to rebuild though.
jackie Verified Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 just a few months ago there was a still a debate who would be the number 1 closer Osuna or Storen
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Someone tell me again how Dickey hasn't been that bad. Sadly he seems to be getting worse not better.
