Pompey is only coming up if he can play as a starter and play regularly up here all season, they are trying to protect him in a way they didn't with Travis Snider. So unless Gibby is considering Bautista & Saunders as DH options and keeping EE at first, he's not coming up yet.

yeah he's a professional but you'd think having to rotate a guy like Pompey in the outfield every week could mess him up. He'll have to worry so much about defense that it would mess with his well-known fragile head.
