Has Stroman even experienced massive failure yet until now? The guy needs to be s*** on to get back to his humble roots. The guy doesn't seem to take any criticism whatsoever unless you are his friends or family.

People in the org, Hayhurst, Kyle Boddy, even Walker (Captain "pitch to contact"), etc, all seem to be saying the same things that I post after every single Stroman start, yet the same tendencies/choices continue to be prevalent in his game plan. It's frustrating and a strong topic of conversation while our offense, BP, and the rest of the SR seem to be clicking well.

I also hate it when people say what he should be and shouldn't be doing on social media(not saying this is you). The guy is free to do whatever he wants, its his life.

Stroman has some growing up to do. That much we know but I like that he's a hard worker and smart. Either be tough skinned or get ready for a Lawrie like exit

So, how's our BP situation going to look like by the time the deadline roles around? I feel like the team needs lots of things to click and our farm system is empty, but the way I see it, July 31/August looks like (barring any trades)

With Storen being the odd man out, but with all this talks about Sanchez to the BP from Gibbons, well with the way Hutchison is throwing in AAA that may well be a reality (I really hope that's not the case). We also depend on lots of things; Cecil coming back to normal, Morales not getting reinjured, Grilli continuing like he's been doing, Hutch not stinking it up... It's gonna be an interesting next month or so and see how everything's meshing up. With he Grilli and Biagini cheap pickups with the FO I have hope they have one more trick up their sleeve for a cheap BP peice.

We should sell Edwin at the deadline, the way he is hitting he could be worth a good prospect, maybe even a blue chip. A team that could use an upgrade like that are Indians, They have Napoli and Santana at 1b/dh and neither is overwhelming middle of the order force.

Well he's a lefty so that's automatically a place in the BP. Especially if Cecil is back to last year form I want him in 8th inning spot and high leverage spot, not wasted as a LOOGY

Girodo has a career 1.35 FIP in the minors and has been great vs LHH in the majors this year. Loup's velo is down but he'd still be good vs Lefties.

 

Who's to say Morales velo won't be down either coming back from a dead arm. His career numbers vs Lefties aren't even good.
