Most of the crowd.only cared about Bautista Martin and Donaldson. Very indifferent now. Red Sox fans louder. Of course.

There are probably a ton of Boston fans there. The East coast (and I'm sure Quebec too) is riddled with them. It's a disease.

It's like 75% Expos fans who just want to wear their old jerseys, 15% Boston and maybe 10% actual Jays fans.

got an upgrade on my connection the first of the month.... and yet mlb.tv is lagging like a fat guy that's missed the ice cream truck, but still wants a box of Eskimo pies.

It's the same s*** every year. They release new apps for ps3, ps4, etc without test. s*** sucks for a month. Rinse and repeat.

there test doesn't go that high.... lol it maxes out at about 10Mbps.

and you are correct. I could see the game in the beginning, but it was radio audio instead of in game which by itself is actually a blessing IF IT WAS ACTUALLY IN SYNC WITH THE GAME. then the audio was correct for the 5th inning, then back to radio audio and then finally it staggered around like a drunken fool and fell in front of a bus. never saw the last inning... it's still buffering. lol

Yeah it's been nearly unwatchable throughout spring on the PS4 for me. Almost every game freezes after a minute or two, locking the entire app, so you can't even quickly exit the feed and reload it. You have to go to the PS4 home screen and force close the application. There was one game that finally worked after 3 or 4 crashers but of the dozen or so I've tried, all have failed.

Now I don't have very strong internet right now so that could be part of it. But I can stream games on my PC through the mlb.tv applet just fine. And Netflix in decent quality is fine the majority of the time.

It's just the app. Some of the devices work better than others. I find the most reliable is actually the phone app.

The PS4 app is extremely glitchy. Will be interested in seeing how the Roku app does.

Went to both Montreal games, had a lot of fun. I really do wish that the games weren't the day before the regular season begins though.

The 50/50 draw at today's game was over $170K. That's almost $7 per person spent. Probably the best indicator of the spending power in Montreal. In comparison, I know a Michigan state football game that had 76k in fans had a $32,000 50/50 draw.

Cheap Americans.

93 million unemployed. Obamacare. Insane tax laws. Major companies leaving virtually every week. Major cities facing bankruptcy.

They're not so much cheap as in the shitter.

Record for the Jays was $35K last I knew (August last year). I think there is something to spending in a one off weekend in comparison to 81 home games but still Montreal has people that will spend (at least on gambling). Put fundraising VLT's and they could pay for a new stadium

50% unemployment? Interesting
