Also, a note on 2018 MiLB pick: they aren't officially available yet, so you're making a handshake agreement with the person you're trading with. When the 2017 draft is over, you'll have to remind a commish to add the 2018 picks to your list.

2) A 'last day to make cuts' date.

 

According to the rules we were supposed to draft after the Rule 4 draft ended, but it came and went.

So, we then modified it to be right after the signing deadline took place.

 

Well, the signing deadline is this Friday at 2:00 PM

 

So, can we agree that the draft starts this Saturday at 9:00 AM.

For those new to the league, you get a 12 hour window per pick, so it's all pretty chilled, you don't have to set aside a day or anything. Just don't go incommunicado for a weekend.

 

And can we agree that the final cut-down date is EOD tomorrow. That way, people will have time to prepare their lists in case there is anyone dropped that they want to pick up?

 

Feel free to make alternate suggestions, but we need to get this s*** going.

17th was mentioned awhile ago. I believe that the cut down a week before is a relic from the original DDL rules, but it's not going to be earlier than the day before the draft. Nobody worth taking in the early rounds will be cut anyway, so you'll have plenty of time to adjust your board to accommodate the cuts.

When you put the claim in it'll ask you which player you want to drop if the claim goes through. If it didn't do that you must have had an open slot at the time you put the claim in and then you picked up a player after putting in the claim.
