Off topic, but man Curtis Granderson has had an exceptional career. I didn't even know that he was elite with the Tigers before being moved to the Yankees, as I did not follow baseball as passionately at the time. Now currently sitting at 43.9 WAR over 12 seasons, very impressive.

 

Yeah, he was a superstar when he was traded from Detroit to the Yankees for Austin Jackson.

Jackson was younger, and much cheaper, but fans in Detroit were not happy. Grandy was very well liked.

It's unlikely, he would need another three 5 WAR seasons or so to give him a strong chance. He'll end up as one of those really great but not quite HOF worthy players.
