He just went undrafted in DDL, and will certainly go undrafted in BBDL. You could have traded back to the last pick in the draft and got him.

Huh? You would have had to have known that a 34th round pick and not even top 25 Jays prospect would ever get picked.

It's not that it's a bad pick necessarily. all these guys are crapshoots, but you could have taken him much later.

Generally, 21 year olds in rookie ball aren't that sought after. Oh, le potage!

Well he obviously didn't know that, since he took him at 6th overall, ahead of the real life 1st overall pick.

No offense to the kid, but I'm pretty sure he could have waited a couple of years and he would still be undrafted.

There's got to be something more behind this. Even if you were going full homer you could have taken any Blue Jays pick within the first 10 rounds, those that have some relevancy at least.

 

Frenchsoup and David Jacob are clearly related.
