This wasn't supposed to be a Spittin bash. I was just merely pointing out that there is a division where the current leader has a sub .500 record. It speaks to all of the teams in the division not just him. But all 5 of those teams would be last place in division 3 by a significant amount and not in the playoffs. Essentially getting a free pass in. It's not that hard to understand. Maybe Spittin goes on a tear for the rest of the season and ends up as a legitimate playoff record team. I don't know what the future will hold.

It's like this: Mike Trout is the best dynasty asset in baseball. That's the default position. It takes a very long run of success to change that perception. There really isn't any reason to pretend that Trout might be inferior to someone who has a 130 wRC+ 250 PA into the season.
