Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I feel like there's an obvious guy here. I don't think Dinger was expecting Gio to be available but he had a different guy as his top target
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Benintendi was my easy #1 choice so I'm willing to trade down from 7. I had him above Moncada but not number 1.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I had him above Moncada but not number 1. Probably some pitcher since you have a problem
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 L54 make your pick man, I don't deal with your type. Lol who the f*** is this guy?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Did not see Brendan Rodgers going top 3. I didn't expect it either, but his offensive profile as a shortstop in Coors is pretty damn sweet.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Probably some pitcher since you have a problem He wasn't my top batter either.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Lol who the f*** is this guy? A hungover dude who has been watching Benintendi highlight clips for the past month.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Hoping to trade entire draft slots for a MLB upgrade. Dunno how realistic that is, but throwing it out there.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 He wasn't my top batter either. Interesting. Is it an OF or 1B? I've narrowed it down to two guys.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Interesting. Is it an OF or 1B? I've narrowed it down to two guys. Why would I say if he's not picked yet.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Why would I say if he's not picked yet. Because I badly want to snipe you for all the things you've done to me over the years
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Interesting. Is it an OF or 1B? I've narrowed it down to two guys. Matt Olson and Bobby Bradley?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Matt Olson and Bobby Bradley? Where do you think Alex Meyer goes, bud? First round?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 f*** it, I want to diversify my prospect portfolio. I'm taking the plunge on Nomar Mazara.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 If anyone through the top 10 is looking to move out of their spot let me know.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 If anyone through the top 10 is looking to move out of there spot let me know. I'll see when I'm at 10. I've been despaired twice already.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I don't think Mazara was the runaway choice there, but I have coveted him for a long time.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Thought I could get him at 11 damn. You can't have actually thought he would make it that far?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 You can't have actually thought he would make it that far? Did you forget his LOD draft strategy where he banked on being far smarter than everyone else?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Did you forget his LOD draft strategy where he banked on being far smarter than everyone else? No, but I thought his programming was adaptive.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Yay, we get to hear Cyborg whine again about how he cant get a bunch of studs late in the draft because everyone is dumn.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 You can't have actually thought he would make it that far? I had a list of what I thought the draft would look like. Thought hed be 10-12.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 I had a list of what I thought the draft would look like. Thought hed be 10-12. If the last few years has taught me anything about drafts, it's to never try to guess what people are going to do. I don't know how anyone could realistically expect him to still be there beyond about 5 or 6 though.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Was actually expecting one of Mazara or Benintendi being are option here, but this has got to be about the easiest decision for us. We take Giolito.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 He's ranked #62 in the MLB Top 100 prospects. I always figure people will go by that, and based on that, there's about 40 guys that should go first (once you weed out the guys that have seen MLB).
