jacobdr4 Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Giving up 2 runs in 5 innings is not more impressive than writing your thesis on a bus Joe Buck.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hard to look bad when the team is playing the way the Royals are, there are really no bad options. My cat could manage them at this point. True, but Gibby would have left Young in until 2 more runs had scored lol
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 f*** off Dickey. Our offence is just too Jekyll and Hyde this series though.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Oh MVP fail!!! Rrrrrrrrr
MrMariusz Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Lots of baseball left to play.
Atlas Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Back from dinner *BURP* What I miss?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Lots of baseball left to play. Against Herrera, Madson and Davis? Not really.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 3 runs is still well within reach for this offence, no matter how tough their pen is. We already got to their pen once during the regular season IIRC, it's just a matter if keeping it at the 3 run margin here on...
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Don't know how much more Hendriks has in the tank.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Against Herrera, Madson and Davis? Not really. This. I would be amazed if we could get just 1 run off of that crew.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Gibbons trying to blow out Hendriks like he did Neil Wagner?
taximan89 Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Dickey better not try to assuage fans in his press conference with his pseduointellectual ********
Don Encartista Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 guys it doesn't always happen when u want it to; doesn't mean it won't happen....four innings to go, plenty of time for a couple of rallies.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Gibbons has to go, no feel for his pitchers.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Gibbons trying to blow out Hendriks like he did Neil Wagner? Putting Hawkins in here would be a mistake.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Maybe Gibbons is taking notice.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hawkins on the team is embarrassing. I'd rather have Bo Schultz.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hendriks making Gibbons look like a dumb f***ing ******* for not having confidence in him.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 He's throwing heat that's good
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Putting Hawkins in here would be a mistake. Not really, you play the cards you are dealt.
taximan89 Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hendriks needs to force Gibby to stick with him or else Hawkins is in and we're done. Gibby has a love affair with Hawk
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I'd rather put a little shittier pitcher in than blow my guy out.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Hawkins on the team is embarrassing. I'd rather have Bo Schultz. That's taking things too far. At least Hawkins has experience to share with the younger pitchers down there (who have all said he has been a good mentor). Schultz is just a gas can with none of that.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 f*** lucky that wasn't hit a mile
bronson44 Verified Member Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Liam has been awesome. Still holding his velocity too. I'd be tempted to take another look at him as a starter next year
