Professional Hitter Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Slightly disappointed not to get that second run in, but at least we're on the board..
AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Why bunt with revere when all you need is a GB to his pull side. GB contact hitter with corners in odds of hitting a single go wayyyyy up.
Billy Bats Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Because that would be incredibly dumb on multiple levels. yea that bag of baseballs in the batters box is so much better on so many levels. carry on lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 How can Gibby not have faith in Revere pulling the ball? It's almost unbelievable.
Floortom Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 That was the right call. It's entirely Reveres fault for not executing there and not getting us another run
nextyear Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Unbelievable, the number 1, 2 and 3 guys couldn't get Goins in from 2nd base with none out. The Blue Jays will need the 7, 8 and 9 guys to drive the runs in today.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I don't think people realize how slow Goins is.
deadlee Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 this is the third time in 2 games that we have had a runner at 2nd with none out.. and we have stranded him.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Pillar and Cola have been amazing. Fundamental hitting with them two
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I don't think people realize how slow Goins is. I don't see people s***ing on Goins? He did his job. 1-2-3 failed miserably.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 More likely the pitcher completely gasses him because he's not afraid of Cliff Pennington. and pitchers are afraid of Tulo right now? lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Might be individual decision Lol, not twice.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 yea that bag of baseballs in the batters box is so much better on so many levels. carry on lol There's this thing called defence, you should read up on it. Pennington simply did not look good in the field over recent games where he played.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 this is the third time in 2 games that we have had a runner at 2nd with none out.. and we have stranded him. 4th
Slugger Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Price going with the low pant/grey glove look.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I don't see people s***ing on Goins? He did his job. 1-2-3 failed miserably. No guarantee he would have scored on a groundball by Donaldson.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 The Royals have been very aggressive coming after Price so far... Good for his pitch count.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Price going with the low pant/grey glove look. Good hes been s*** with the blue glove.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Throw Escobar something in the dirt. Inside.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 If you are going to ask Revere to bunt and pull the 3b in, why isn't Goins trying to steal third at the same time?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Unbelievable, the number 1, 2 and 3 guys couldn't get Goins in from 2nd base with none out. The Blue Jays will need the 7, 8 and 9 guys to drive the runs in today. What's so unbelievable about it, happens a lot more than you realize.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 The Royals have been very aggressive coming after Price so far... Good for his pitch count. Helps hes pounding the zone as well.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Revere blows. At least Price seems on point.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I don't see people s***ing on Goins? He did his job. 1-2-3 failed miserably. This. They have to stop trying to hit Homers all the time.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Nice shutdown inning here after the Jays score a run, rare in the playoffs with this team. Lets score some more!
deadlee Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 29 pitches in 3 innings - i'm a-okay with that price!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Martin and Tulo should be flip flopped in the order.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
