BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Can we have a series thread? McHugh vs. Ventura tonight. Go stros!
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Go Astros. Hate the Royals slightly less than the Orioles.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Go Stros...cause I want Home Field if we get past the Rags.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Torn on this one. Love the Stros but also like Ace Ventura.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Go ... exciting series with lots of offense.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Why isn't Gomez playing? I took him in fanduel...
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Ventura is a douche Oh yeah, I meant as a pitcher. Fun to see a guy his size light up the gun.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Why isn't Gomez playing? I took him in fanduel... Intercostal injury.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I have a rule if the Blue Jays lose I don't watch any other baseball games or sports highlights until they win again. But no I don't want Kansas City to win.

But no I don't want Kansas City to win. I have a rule. Dont let the Jays losing affect the enjoyment of other games. I hate the Royals so much,i want to see them devastated like we are right now.
nextyear Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I am rooting for the Astros. They are the underdog and have the shortest player in the major leagues since 1981 in Jose Altuve who also happens to be a star baseball player.

A year from now, they might also have Altuve mini in the lineup (Tony Kemp) Hmmm, okay, I stand corrected. Kemp must have grown an inch or two. Yeah, must be that.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Nice start for the Stros
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 You're not a real fan. How does that make me not a real fan. I don't need a reminder every 30 seconds that we lost. Move on with my day and wait for the next game.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 For some reason, I have a feeling the Astros are going to upset the Royals. Something about KC's pitching staff doesn't make me comfortable. And of course, the Stros have Keuchel and McHugh, and McCullers.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Go houston. f*** you Ventura.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 2-0 already. Ventura is digging himself quite a hole early.
deadlee Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 why did they concede that second run?.. there was a play at home plate, imo

It might be an upset in terms of odds (not sure), but I think the Astros are by far the stronger team.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Astros executing perfectly
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Lots of pressure on KC. Way more than Houston.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Home teams are just being trolled big time thus far this postseason eh... let's put a stop to this madness tm.... until Sunday, where it can gladly resume for two more days, lol.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Things are looking good for Texas baseball fans.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 So Alex Gordon is hitting 8th and Alcides Escobar is leading off. The legend of Ned Yost grows.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 lol crushed by the tarp
