RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Yeah my point was more about how the Jays TV deal is probably worth 150 million per season if you were to compare it to the NHL contract, not the actual NHL contract itself. This is the biggest discrepancy imo
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Calgary is a buzz about the Jays. You would think it was the Flames being in the playoffs again that's how much it's being talked about. Lots of Jays jerseys out here. When I stopped in at Boston Pizza on 17th Ave recently for a quick bite, they had the Jays game on with sound. You wouldn't believe how many Jays fans were there in their jerseys and hats. When the game ended and the Jays won, the place was LOUD. It was so f***ing awesome! I'm going to make a point of catching some more Jays games at the bar.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Agree. Its awesome. usually I feel like alone.... In my office people are talking ball again... I'm pleasantly surprised with how many Jays fans there are at my office. It's easily the most off-topic subject discussed on the daily.
