Why do people get upset when guys say "he's a baseball player", it happens all the time in every broadcast and throughout the minors, ballplayers say that about opponents and teammates, it's old school and won't end anytime soon.

Some guy on a radio station I've been forced to listen to kept calling Donaldson "JoDo" yesterday and I was kind of raging. I was almost ready to call in. Then today he was acting like Bautista shouldn't have been staring down that fan or shaking his head at him during last night's game. Yeah, because fans have the right to just interfere with the game like that because they want a damn ball.
