Guess I can finally cross bench clearing brawl off the bucket list of things to see live at a Jays game. Entire section was pumped up as f***, the ******** chants, Sanchez chants... holy s***. Seeing Gibbons come back out after getting tossed was hilarious. Wolf just put on the most disgraceful umpiring performance I've seen. Tops anything Angel Hernandez has ever done, and that's saying a lot given he had to top Hernandez himself in the same crew today.

I love Donaldson's attitude when it comes to his teammates. When asked about Tulo/Revere/other additions and how good they've been playing and Osuna in the Closers role he's basically like "Well it's their jobs to do well so they're expected to do well" lol

Volquez just practically admitted to throwing at Donaldson on purpose,in the stupidest way possible.

He is quoted as complaining about the way Donaldson was acting after hitting his hr earlier in the series,and saying that JD is not Barry bonds,and he has only been in the league 3 years.

Probably cant be suspended.

To be fair though there's a lot of respectable players on that team. Moose, Hosmer, Alex Gordon etc. It's strictly their chicken s*** pitchers and airhead of a manager

Volquez on Donaldson: "He was pimping everything. Somebody hits you, you've got to take it — because you're pimping everything you do."

Absolutely. Remember though, Donaldson directed his anger at the ump. He clearly said he can take being hit it's the mishandling of the situation that pissed off the Jays.

Wolf lost control of the game, but he realized it too late.

 

When Sanchez hit Escobar, that's when it finally hit him. It wasn't when the Royals were throwing at JD, or when they hit Tulo like it should have been.

 

That's why he double cluched before ejecting Sanchez. I think he felt that it was unfair to eject a Jay first, but he felt he had to. And IMO Sanchez absolutely hit Escobar on purpose. It was the perfect time (2 outs, 8th inning no one on) and after Wolf called the first pitch a ball, I think Martkn decided to call for it.

 

If I'm JD, I'm thanking Sanchez and Russ for standing up for me because the umps aren't doing their jobs.

They seem to have a hatred for Oakland because JD played for Oakland,and now they also hate Brett Lawrie.

I hope Oakland f***s them up.

What a joke of a team. I know the Toronto fanbase is pretty brutal but holy f*** man, KC and their fans are just comical.

Royals have to be punished by the league, how many incidents have they gotten into now? And, it's now obvious their manager condones their behaviour by trying to cover it up. Unfortunately for Yost, some of his pitchers' actions and comments directly contradict his spin.

They attempt to bully a team in their own yard,and cry if we rightfully complain about it.

They know how useless/clueless the umpires are so they dont have to give a s***.

They have no respect for us whatsoever,so we should not respect them either.

Royals are going to be very sorry for acting like thugs.
