MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Nice job AA. You get the most underrated reliever on the market (I didn't even know he was good this year) for meh prospect. Also he has a good chance of resigning him. 6 Hawkins 7 Cecil 8 Sanchez 9 Lowe
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Thats pretty good for Seattle for a rental reliever. I bet they are glad they brought him back for nothing. Good trade for both teams

awsomest Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 2 high ceiling lefties+ for Lowe lol All in be honest you had never heard of these people before
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Uh oh! The next guy better be Navarro because I don't think the board can handle losing another shitbag nothing prospect!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 be honest you had never heard of these people before Brentz was pretty hyped at draft time. Over slot guy IIRC.
BasicB Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Not to rain on this Lowe love-in, but while he's been good this year, he's been somewhere between meh-and-atrocious the rest of his career. Non-2015 K/BB rate of 1.9, r u kidding? No Jays RP (other than pre-injury Sanchez) anywhere close to that level of control futility. Good on the mariners for getting 3 warm bodies for this guy. Not sure how he's anything other than a lateral move for the BJs. Hope he continues pitching as well as he has in 2015. Regression to the mean suggests he won't.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Rob Rasmussen, Jake Brentz and Nick Wells 2 trades, 6 lefties
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 If your left handed i am sorry but you gotta go your not normal.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Nick Wells was interesting but I'm hardly going to lose sleep over losing a super longshot when you are actually getting a good reliever back. There really is no bad pitcher in the pen now which has a lot of value so Gibby can't f*** up as bad.

RP's have very volatile seasons, look at Delabar. He's pitching really well this year and we happen to need someone for this year.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Rob Rasmussen, Jake Brentz and Nick Wells 2 trades, 6 lefties Would you rather trade righties? Most hitters bat from the right side.
