jayswin11 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 s***** but the right decision. We have enough offence though without him and Goins is good defensively
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Won't they use that spot for Price?
baubau Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Kudos for acting quick this time, but f*** this better not be a reoccurring issue.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Get hi ready for late august/Sept for the big push.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Hopefully it's just 15 days and he's ready to go, but I could see this going into September. Adding a healthy Travis and Stroman to this team come September could be huge.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Why would that make a difference? Won't be playing through injury 'til then?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Travis officially put on the DL, Price activated.. Hopefully we see Tepera sent down and Kawasaki up by game time.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Why would that make a difference? I think he means better to do it now than derp around, have him play hurt and end up DLing him anyways.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 What's the injury? With our line-up now it's a lot easier to allow Goins to play 2B and bat 9th.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 What's the injury? With our line-up now it's a lot easier to allow Goins to play 2B and bat 9th. same injury as last, shoulder
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 What's the injury? With our line-up now it's a lot easier to allow Goins to play 2B and bat 9th. It's the same injury as before just re-aggravated.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 This really sux because Travis is perfect in the leadoff spot for this lineup. Don't really like seeing tulo hit leadoff. Especially with goins hitting 9th
bill Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 That is a huge loss. Cant see them making a run without Travis

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Good. We have enough bats to make it work and Goins is splendid defensively.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 This looks like one of those season ending nagging injuries alright there Dr. Bill, I'm disappointed but we'll see where we are in 15 days
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I guess better to give him 2 weeks off and see how it responds than have him taking up a roster spot and/or trying to rush it back like last time and missing more time. We'll need him down the stretch. Goins can hold the fort at least defensively with the offense the team has, and Danny V can make some starts there. I want to see him come back, stay healthy and win the ROY award.
