Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 4 out save? Day off tomorrow. Ok so why is schultz up?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 What a start when we really needed it against Archer. Estrada has been more than we could ask. Lindy was a loss but we needed (need) arms.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Time to put in Goins as a late inning defender?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Ok so why is schultz up? In case Estrada got in trouble, he sat down after the 2nd out.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 In case Estrada got in trouble, he sat down after the 2nd out. So basically Gibbons got him up for 1 out. Unless he was up at the start of the inning.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Semantics, you can f*** off now coach. lmao that's not helping your pro gibbons argument, what he did makes no sense.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I hated that trade, but he's been great. Me too. His numbers as a reliever were better than as a SP last year and he is a fly ball pitcher which aint great in RC. Lind had value against RHP and I didn't see upside in Estrada.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 lmao that's not helping your pro gibbons argument, what he did makes no sense. Yes, yes it did. lol @ pro Gibbons.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Yes, yes it did. He just got both schultz and osuna up when he knew he was going to use just one. How the hell does that make sense?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Kiermaier nearly came up with that, my god.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 He just got both schultz and osuna up when he knew he was going to use just one. How the hell does that make sense? Are you kidding? Relievers get warm all the time and don't come in...
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Kiermaier nearly came up with that, my god. He's no Pillar!
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 No need to use Osuna now, No need to put innings on that arm.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 He's no Pillar! You're right, he's only way better.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 This isn't an outrageous statement by any means. Devo has really quick feet and his hands/glovework is very smooth. Goins really isn't as good as people make him out to be. I think Travis is good on defense. However, people rate Goins more on his hitting than his defense, and Devon Travis is a better hitter. The best way to rate Travis is in comparison to a player who is good both defensively and offensively such as Donaldson. Maybe Travis will be that good but it is too early to say. Back to the game. Nice home run by Bautista.
