Nafro Verified Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Our pitchers are the worst in the AL. How does it get worse? Todd Redmond is added to the roster again and is going to start today. That's how it gets worse.
Nafro Verified Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I'm assuming Redmond is just making the one start and transitioning to the bullpen. This is a spot start give the young starters an extra. I suspect that when a permanent spot in the rotation opens up, it will be between Norris and Wolf as to who gets it. I would argue there are three spots in the rotation that are currently "open".

jayswin11 Verified Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I think Redmond will be sent back down after game
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Well go Redman, Redman go! Either way this works! Lol
RickyWalks Verified Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Redmond pitching today? Happy VictoriAAA day everyone!
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Todd Redmond is added to the roster again and is going to start today. That's how it gets worse. Compared to how the rotation has performed thus far I don't think he could do any worse than what others have done. In fact I'd even go so far to say its completely plausible that a rotation of Norris, Wolf, Redmond, Estrada, Hendriks could show a better result to this point in the season than what the current staff has done. I'm not saying that's a better rotation, I'm saying Redmond amongst others couldn't possibly have done much worse than what we've seen to this point in the season.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 what's the over under on runs Redmond gives up? 6.5?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Based on two think under so far is the way to go on that one!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Meanwhile Wolf has a 1.00 ERA in AAA and isn't starting. Anyone know why Redmond over Wolf? Again, this is the sort of question I wouldn't even contemplate in my worst nightmare way back in March. So they can DFA Redmond after this spot start.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Yes the can Bye Bye Redmond ! Thanks for coming, grab your parting gift and shuffle the deck back to Buffalo!
