Whenever I see Gibbons during the game, he looks so relaxed and is sitting by himself on the bench. Other managers I see are standing and interact more with the team during the game. I can't see this helping the team in any way, as the leader. I'd prefer some better body language from Gibby.

Yeah... Don't think that's a thing that happens. Professional athletes tend not to care too much about how relaxed and isolated their manager happens to appear to you.

I'd say your wrong, and subconsciously it does have an impact on players. Might be a minor impact, but his body language is terrible.

Well, it's not something I can debate, but that's because I'm a rational human being, I suppose you could find some weird "the moon landing was faked!" types who would give you a great debate or something... Well actually you are wrong. You might want to look at expanding your horizons a bit. Any sports psychologist would agree with me. Clearly you're a stubborn guy so no point in debating with you.

Not in a sport like baseball, It's the reason they always talk about players as leaders. All MLB managers in one way or another are just chill old men who don't do much.

Has anyone noticed how Gibby blinks as well? It's like he keeps his eyes open for a long time and then blinks slowly and his eyelids stay closed for a fraction of a second longer than other managers. Obviously this is affecting the players and the team is under-performing because of it. Bring in a manager who blinks at a normal speed and this team would be 19-11
