ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Wow. This is something else...pinch hitting for Saunders but not for Thole? ?

baubau Verified Member Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Gibby has been a turrble manager this season.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 He should be DFA'd bro? The ship is about to sink!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Wow. This is something else...pinch hitting for Saunders but not for Thole? ? Id rather Bautista be pinch hit for at the rate he is going. The more he whines the more they call the outside pitch a strike. Seen it increase dramatically the last couple of weeks. Seems to always be in the hole and striking out after one of those calls.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 another L for the jays. On track for what I predicted.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 No. Yes. He's always walked more than struck out, and is currently rocking a 7% BB rate and 20% K rate. Projections are down on him like 10% from preseason. Bautista looks like he'll be fine, but Edwin is starting to be a cause for concern.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 On to Cleveland we go.. and that ship that is the Indians looks already sunk, downed by bad defense, bad bullpen, and lackluster offense. Maybe the Jays will do better against them. BTW, Cleveland is struggling since Yan Gomes went down.. although Roberto Perez has done a reasonable job filling in. However, the rest of the lineup is really struggling.. no decent leadoff guy as Bourn has badly regressed, and only Brantley hitting for average. And that bullpen.. it's god awful! We get Boston again next weekend.. hoepfully things will be better next time.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 The problem with firing Gibby is that it likely doesn't have any kind of significant impact on the team and the replacement likely is not better anyways.

I'm too lazy to look it up but wasn't he just as bad last year in April?

If my activity is correct i have posted ~5 times since we scored tonight. 2 positive, 1 joke, 1 discussing Dickey next season and the Baustista one. So hope you were joking.
