BTS Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 He would, but there is no one to troll there. Do the Rays even have a forum aside from their mlb.com message board?
MatBarnes Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I've been posting on this board for 10 years. You can kindly go f*** yourself. It's time for you to move on. You're not wanted.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 On to Boston....need to get some wins on the board
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 They were winning that game, had the bullpen held that lead would we care that they scored only 2 runs? No and I criticized the bullpen over-management. However, scoring 2 runs in a game started by Erasmo Ramirez is not something to be proud of as an offensive team. It certainly leaves a very small margin for error. Offense was cold this series, in part due to good pitching, but Smyly was making his season debut and Erasmo Ramirez is who he is. Anyway, at least Sanchez is going tomorrow.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 It's pretty annoying that we do not have a consistent offense yet.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 LOL I don't get it. Are you a fan of both teams? Or are you a Rays fan and you hope for good fortune of the Jays. Just curious. I've been a Jays fan my whole life, but I really appreciate what TB's management has done. Eventually watching them 18 times a year when they played the Jays turned into watching them as much as I watch the Jays, and I started hoping they'd win. It hasn't helped that I don't respect Toronto's FO at all. People lose sight of the fact that none of this actually matters, and it's all just a game. As for why I still post here, obviously it's because I like posting here lol. I've been talking ball with the same guys for 5-10 years, am in forum leagues, wrote a bit for the blog etc... Same deal with Hurl. This community is awesome, especially the fantasy leagues. Really looking forward to the next regime change in Toronto.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Decided to cut grass in 10 degree weather rather than watch the rest that s*** show. My suggestion is to get MLB Game day app, and get the Jays updates. You can go on in your life, and still get the scoring plays
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Loyalty is a thing. Indeed. It just doesn't have all that much to do with sports entertainment.

I wish we could send all of our staff from our minor league system to a course with the Tampa system. They have a solid development side that we could really benefit from. Cards are another team that just has a working organization at every level. it really shouldn't matter to people in here what team people cheer for as long as they like to talk baseball and aren't douche bags like the Os fans.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Indeed. It just doesn't have all that much to do with sports entertainment. It would be different if you jumped ship to the Yanks or red sox, if that were the case we would have you institutionalized. lol

You're still comfortable with the Rays even though Friedman/Maddon are gone?

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 You're still comfortable with the Rays even though Friedman/Maddon are gone? I don't think there's going to be a huge drop off. The FO that was in place was there because Sternberg put it there. Silverman is a smart guy in his own right.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Being too nice to a traitor Mod, get your house in order no, this is a jays forum, but more than that it is a baseball forum and it's ok to root for other teams as long as they are not starting fights. There are enough Jays fans starting s*** in here. Hurl and BTS bleed baseball and have great insight and a sense of humor, which is something that some people in this forum should put on their shopping list.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Jays managerial hierarchy... Gibbons - Farrel - Gibbons Equivalent to... s*** - piss - back to s*** beat that horse in the fire Gibbons thread. I'll let people flame there, but try to keep it out of the GDT.
LTR Verified Member Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Jays managerial hierarchy... Gibbons - Farrel - Gibbons Equivalent to... s*** - piss - back to s*** Why even bother complaining about the manager when you know you can win the World Series with a bad one?

Silverman is a smart guy in his own right. Well said. It starts at the very top which is why I'm not confident in Jays's ownership's ability to find a better GM than AA. I wouldn't be surprised if they hired Kevin Towers. We'll see what happens.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 THE SHIP IS SINKING! cf Tied with the Angels when they lose to the Rangers tonight.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 You're still comfortable with the Rays even though Friedman/Maddon are gone? He's a loyal guy:p Honestly I'm intrigued by the Rays this year to see if it's partially the system created or were the people the real reason?

Hurl has stated several times that he just loves the way the Rays run their organization. If the Jays ran their organization the way the Rays do (prospect development, team friendly extensions to youthful players, trade when they become expensive to replenish the farm) I'm sure he would love the way the Jays run it. The Rays have accomplished so much with so little, and you have to admire that as a baseball fan.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
