pickoff22 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Hey everyone. I have 4 tickets for the season ticket holder "fan festival" which takes places this Sunday at the Rogers center. Basically you get to watch the game on the big screen, get some free food, get to go on the field, get some autographs from former Jays etc. I'm only using 2, so the other 2 are up for grabs. If you want them (and please only say you do if you know you can make it and will genuinely use them) then let me know. First one to post in here can have them. Some details about the event: The event will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Rogers Centre from 12:00pm until the end of the Blue Jays Broadcast (approximately 4:30pm). • Enter through Gate 11 • Upon entry all guests will receive a voucher for lunch; the voucher includes a soft drink, a snack, and a choice of hamburger or hot dog (veggie dog available upon request). Please note that additional food and beverages (including alcohol) are not included, but will be available for purchase. • Expect a great day of fun and excitement for the entire family when you, our most valued fans, take over the stadium: o Watch the game on the giant videoboard o Play games, and have an opportunity for giveaway prizes courtesy of our in-game entertainment crew o Get a behind the scenes look at the Blue Jays dugout and bullpen o Run the bases and play catch on the major league field at Rogers Centre o Get autographs from Blue Jays Alumni (Kelly Gruber, Lloyd Moseby, Duane Ward and Jesse Barfield) o Enjoy inflatables, face painting and more!

That's too bad, hopefully it's a fun family outing Yeah I'm a season ticket holder. I assume all ST holders get them.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Ah cool. Which section do you sit? Do you always attend all games or do you unload the unused ones on stubhub?
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Ah cool. Which section do you sit? Do you always attend all games or do you unload the unused ones on stubhub? Section 116, 15th row. I end up selling/giving away at least half......there's just too many games in a year to go to all of them with my schedule. I also will sell them in advance and then just buy a single ticket right before the game on stubhub for dirt cheap.....if I go to the game solo.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Ah cool, I have my flex pack and I always choose seats around that area. I always keep an eye on stubhub every week just to see if there are any season ticket holders dumping any last minute seats. A few years ago I was able to grab the 2nd row behind premium row for under $100. That was the same game that Bautista/Danks were chirping and Hill hit a grand slam. Since then I haven't been able to find super duper deals
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Not sure how close you are to the stadium, but if you have the flexibility to buy very last minute you'll find some great deals. Last year I went out for a run, got home at 6:55, checked stubhub and found an "in the action" ticket for $30. Had already sold my seats. Bought it, printed and had the quickest shower of my life lol. Those are the ones that are face $210 and include food/non-alcoholic drinks. Don't get deals that good very often, but you will easily find tickets at well under face weekdays right before the game. Stubhub is awesome, both from a selling perspective and a buying perspective.

Since then I haven't been able to find super duper deals A few days ago someone put two tickets behind the Orioles dugout for $13.50 each or something like that. Someone posted about it on BlueBirdBanter and some guy who lives near the stadium quickly bought them. This was only 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the game though.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Darnit. I work all the way @ Downsview and live in Scarborough, so by the time I get there it's the 3rd inning.
Bell11 Verified Member Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I'm interested. How do I pick up tickets?
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 But don't we have to follow you on Twitter first?!?!
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted April 25, 2015 Author Posted April 25, 2015 Sorry for the delay Bell11 - I had someone message me before who asked for them but needed to check their schedule before confirming - they can't make it. So these are still available for Bell or someone else.
HitballslikeFrankThomas Verified Member Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Can I pick em up?
