When your catcher is having that many problems catching you, you might want to take a deep breath and work on your control. Great stuff but not sure if he's over throwing, struggling with release points, rushing himself, it's nerves, some combination of all the above.

You can't sit off speed when a guy is throwing 98.

 

Why not? Don't swing at the fastball until you get to two strikes. You can't go up there and just "see the ball, hit the ball" with Archer's stuff. Bautista and EE will get a hittable off speed pitch for sure.
