Again...since when are closers only allowed to pitch in the 9th. Closers are closers...sometimes they come into the 8th when warranted.

Make your statement clear.

'I, RealAccountant, do not believe that Cecil was ever in the closers role, because I believe that this can only be deemed as such if he enters the game to start the 9th inning with a 1, 2, or 3, run lead.'

Today and yesterday he pitched the exact same scenario. 8th innings ahead by a few runs.

Have fun while it lasts... 36~ more hours till the Sanchez Horror Show begins!

Well at least he'll get to face Mr. Adam Jones, and if he walks him we know we need a change there.

Norris is the alpha bitch.

"As he packed his gear for the Jays’ flight to Baltimore, the game ball rested on the chair at his locker."

No game ball for Castro

You know, I was watching this game and thinking, man, the Jays *as a team* are just so much more likeable than in years past. It's easy to cheer for everyone on the roster. Last year I had a hard time really liking some of the roster.

Likeable team is likeable.

I have been super impressed! Jays finally have some smart, talented and composed young players to fit in with the core. Devon Travis is having some amazing at bats. He is a tough out at the bottom of the lineup. Been blown away by him so far. Same with Castro. Osuna too. Pompey looking like an improvement over Rasmus. Norris looking very good as well.

Can't say I remember a team I like as much as this one.

O's lineup doesn't scare me as much without Markakis and Cruz, I think 1-9 Jays have the more potent lineup. Hopefully Buehrle can have an April like he did last year. Our starting pitching was spectacular this series.

I'm hopeful, I think he had a very solid spring. It's Sanchez I'm worried about. I see a 9 ERA game from him.

Amazed at this kid CASTRO

The only Jay reliever I remember watching eliciting that many weak swings was when Timlin first came up. Castro is amazing. SSS, but wow, just wow.

I don't think the O's are going to be the team to hurt him though. It is a team of free swingers and i think that is the kind of team you want Sanchez to face. He is going to have more problems with patient hitting teams.

I mean i imagine they will do all they can to play it considering it is their home opener but the forecast looks s***** at best

Someone help a bro out how do you post a tweet lol

Get the Tweet number from Twitter - you can get it by clicking on the tweet and picking "copy link to tweet", it will give you a URL address that includes a long lumber

Cut and paste that number here with [ Tweet ] before it, then [ /Tweet ] after it with no spaces. (I had to show that with spaces or else the board makes what I typed disappear) Make sure you ONLY put the number in with no spaces between or within the brackets.
