intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 No thread yet, so why not? Most notable is that this is a Norris start against a majority-big leaguers Rays squad. Should be fun.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 I won't be doing any play-by-play, but: First three batters reach: -Carrera doubles -Izturis RBI Single -Barton HBP I forgot to mention this one's also on 590, or at least it is via MLB.com. So good to hear the voice of baseball again.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 Forsythe making a mockery of the noble profession of the first base man.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Barton hbp. DAT Dere high obp
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 Hopefully Norris eliminates Estrada from the rotation today. I will barf if he makes starts this season. I'll hold your hair back for you. (You are the lovely lady depicted in your avatar,... right?)
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 He has nothing to gain in Buffalo anyway. The guy destroyed that league in 22 IP. 38 K's. 15 k/9. Sure he can work on his walks, but he's been a 3 BB/9 guy all thsi time.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I'll hold your hair back for you. (You are the lovely lady depicted in your avatar,... right?) And I will take that barf and put it in you to cook it up. You are that trusty wok in your avatar, right?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 You are that trusty wok in your avatar, right? What else would I be, constipated Josh Thole?
Top 10 Personal Catcher Verified Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 What else would I be, constipated Josh Thole? What are you implying?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 That you're the best catcher in baseball right now?* *among personal catchers
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 What are you implying? Josh Thole needs some Metamucil??
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 Izturis suddenly out of the game, replaced by Mitch Nay. Huh. Wonder what that's about.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Izturis left the game. Injury? trade?!
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 The race to the bottom hits a snag; a Barton double followed by a Smoak home run.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Any idea how hard Burch Smith is throwing?
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Are there any stairs in the dugout there?
Top 10 Personal Catcher Verified Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Did Izturis have another incident with the dugout stairs? Maybe it's time for one of these??
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 it could be as simple as dehydration or heat stroke... it could be acute gonorrhea too? anyone else have a guess
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Norris, reduces you ERA!! f*** Estrada
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 Souza, diving, can't come up with a catch and hurts wrist badly. Trainers out now. Sounds like he's in considerable pain. EDIT: He's staying in the game. Wow.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Souza may have just broken his wrist on that base hit by Diaz on the trap.. EDIT: Never mind, he's staying in the game.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 At first I felt "goood now the Rays are weaker" but then I realized that this means Souza will have to wait longer to reach his potential (I think he can be a good MLB player) and the Rays are probably a 4th/5th place team this year, so I don't like kicking teams when they are down.

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 lol Yeah, seems to be nothing. In my defense, Wilner made it sound like the guy's wrist twisted into a right angle or something.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 could still be broken. or just a sprain. I think last year a player got hit in the wrist and stayed in the game, but it turned out to be fractured.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I'm liking what Norris is doing
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Yeah, seems to be nothing. In my defense, Wilner made it sound like the guy's wrist twisted into a right angle or something. What? A Blue Jays radio or TV announcer over reacting??? Have never heard of such a thing. LOL
