HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I think we have our backup catcher of the future
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I think we have our backup catcher of the future By all reports he is a great receiver with a great arm.... Bat just never came around i would love to see him backup this season and learn from one of the best.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Pillar is sure doing his best to make a case so far. Great defensive play to end the inning
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 He seems to have no clue vs. righties, just flails away wildly. That maybe true in the SSS you've seen of him in the majors, but he hit them well in the minors.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I thought gameday for ST games didn't track that? I thought they only recorded the outcomes.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 I thought gameday for ST games didn't track that? I thought they only recorded the outcomes. You are correct. Might get pitch velocities closer towards the season though.
bendera3 Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Not sure http://i.imgur.com/7uDtAwh.jpg Look at that mane!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Is there anyway to find out the pitchers velocity? It doesn't show up in Gameday. If they can track location why don't they track velocity?? Even on the TV broadcast game 1 there was no radar velocity info after pitches. They just don't bother I guess.

Thanks for doing the updates today in the GDT. It was so much better reading what was going on rather than "OMGZZOMGZZ DONALDSON SUCKZZZ" like in the first GDT.
jeru Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Anyone know of a site I can watch highlights on?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Anyone know of a site I can watch highlights on? Game was not on TV.

jeru Verified Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Game was not on TV. You're telling me that no one filmed the game? I'm sure there is a tape, just wondering if people knew of a way to see it even if it isn't on tv.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Didn't realize Korecky was still around and pitching.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Navarro not on the bus today.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 some1 gonna make a gdt for game 3? Just realized it's a 7:00 game. Who the hell does ST 7:00 games?!
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Hope they make him run along side it. Well if he's going to be our backup shortstop he's going to have to lose his timbit figure somehow.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Infante, Norris, Osuna, Castro and Guilmet pitching. Wow
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Infante, Norris, Osuna, Castro and Guilmet pitching. Wow Kick ass. Wish we could watch.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Kick ass. Wish we could watch. It's on MLB Network here in Ontario it's channel 415 , not sure about the Atlantic?

Bibens-Dirkx is really good; at least what I saw of him here.

Glad to know he's still in the picture because it just adds to an already pretty solid list of bullpen options.
