jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Leadoff tripple and they can't cash him in. Wow Lloyd McClendon, Jack Z, and their hitting coach's seats are getting hot right now. Don't be surprised if we see a firing spree in the Mariners organization soon. 24-31 for a team that was predicted to go to the World Series. Shows that there are worse organizations than the Blue Jays.. BTW, things are changing in the race.. Kansas City is sliding (dropping 8 of 10) as their starting pitching is s**t, which has allowed the AL Central to open up slightly.. LA, as you saw vs. the Yankees, is struggling, and how long can Texas keep this success up with pitching that is so bad? Jays just need to keep leap frogging teams.. we can jump over the Indians and White Sox with a win today. And anyone thinking the Tigers have too much talent to be this bad.. look at their terrible pitching staff outside of Price!
vdartanian Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I would take any one of Hellickson, Moore, or Cobb. http://notalwaysright.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/funny-quotes-stupid-people.png
LTR Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Stanton hits a 484 ft bomb at Coors... http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/gotta-see-it-stanton-sends-ball-into-rocky-mountains/ Was wondering about this HR... Stanton could prob launch a ball into space from Coors.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Was wondering about this HR... Stanton could prob launch a ball into space from Coors. If he played there, multiple 500+ shots.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Stanton playing at Coors Field! http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/2013/11/fap.gif
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Kansas City is continuing to struggle.. already down 4-0 to the Rangers. Does anyone think the magic of the Royals is wearing off as their pitching staff is getting exposed? Outside of Volquez, their rotation is terrible..

LTR Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Ha... O's go down after a strike-em-out-throw-em-out.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Craig Kimbrel hasn't thrown a FB below 95.4 all year.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Ha... O's go down after a strike-em-out-throw-em-out. Showalter's dumb.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Richards can't throw strikes.. and the Yanks are taking advantage, up 2-0 already.. And now 4-0. well, at least we still have the Rays tonight, who have no shot of winning with King Felix pitching and Longoria not in the lineup.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Yankees up 2-0 on the Angels in the 1st. Ugh. The AL West does not want to help us this week.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 4-0 Yankees now. #FYSMC Garrett Richards.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Oh, f*** off Yankees, ya old f***s. Lose already.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 So much epic fail for the Angels.. Oh BTW, don't forget the Royals slide has allowed the Jays to cut their gap to 5 games on the first wild card. And the 2nd will depend on the Rays game.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 f*** you stupid Yankees. Hope you all end up with the vicious crampz for the next 2 weeks. Pieces of s***.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Pujols should be to blame for those extra two runs. He went to 2nd on a grounder to 1st for the 2nd out. Instead he was safe and bases loaded 1 out
LTR Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Out of the game after 0.2IP 5H 2BB 1HR 6ER
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Looks like Jays won't make up any ground on the winning streak. Thats why you can't say Division is crap etc... You are still going to need 88-92 wins to win the division.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 We just can't catch a break because the washed up Yanks keep getting lucky.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Wild card is still up for grabs too. Detroit and KC's slides have made it much closer. Obviously its still up for grabs.. Not even much point in looking at the standing until August. You have to worry about your own team and the rest will fall into place.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 And to show why the wild card(and maybe division when the Yanks fade once they face stronger competition that actually HITS..) is still up for grabs, the Rays are in trouble, as Odorizzi is DL bound:
LTR Verified Member Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Kiermaier needs to steal more bases, he's blazing fast.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 It's cute how Seattle thinks Trumbo will help them.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 (edited) WILL someone teach Seattle to score runs??? This is ridiculous.. I'll bet on a Mariners message board someone is saying "Fire McClendon now!".. Edited June 7, 2015 by jaysfan2014
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 FINALLY! Mariners score their first run in days. And with King Felix going, hopefully it's enough to beat this punchless Rays team, which is lacking Longoria (wrist).
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
