MLB.TV Blue Jays question

DId anybody else have their MLB.tv account automatically renewed without being contacted or asked? I just received an E-Mail from service@intl.paypal.com saying a transfer has been made for 109.99 USD to MLB Advanced Media L.P.

 

Not that big of a deal, I was probably going to purchase anyhow, just wondering if this is legit or some sort of scam.

 

Probably the same as Sirius/Xm Radio if you do the year subscription if you don't call and cancel before the year is up it will automatically renew. However i read that in the subscription before i bought it.

You're more than likely right, I didn't take the time to read the terms and conditions beforehand. I just thought I'd see if it had happened to anybody else as well, I know sometimes E-Mails like that can be phishing scams, though the E-Mail looks legit.

Well i usually don't either but i have heard so it was the only thing i really looked into it.... Also for every ones information if you call to cancel your subscription to XM/Sirius Radio and say it costs to much for what i use it for they will take money off lol. I am cheap and will find ways to cut costs all the time.

Yeah it automatically renews if you don't cancel. I cancelled so that I can wait until the Baseball Prospectus discount is released before renewing.

Is there any way to get it cheaper then the 129 bucks on the website?

 

I got it for 1/2 off on a Father's Day special. You have to wait a couple of months into the season, but you still end up with more than half the games at that price.

i am in Regina and was going to ask this question....last year there were no blackouts? if for whatever reason it was blacked out, would unblock-us get past this?

No blackouts, and yes.

 

perfect...cancelled my local TV service a few months ago and am streaming through Kodi.Tv....which doesn't get me my Jays fix, which is where the MLB.Tv sub would come from.

I just got MLB.TV and split the cost with my brother who I live with. I'm watching a Pirates/Blue Jays spring training game as I type this. I'm loving it so far. Has anyone had the issue of occasional bufferings/distorted screens? It's not a big deal as it has only happened a couple times I'm just curious. I'm streaming from my PS3.

Just a heads up. I use UNOtelly service which costs a couple dollars a month. It blocks my IP and makes out that my computer is back in Scotland.

I have zero blackouts on mlb.tv and nhl gamecenter and watch all Toronto sports here in downtown toronto
