I'm not 100% positive if this was already posted or not, but given that the last few pages of the thread about second basemen is unsurprisingly full of useless off-topic garbage, I'm gonna go out on a limb.

 

The translations in the above article also mention that the discussions between the Jays and Boras aren't going smoothly (shocker, I know). All said, I'd still really temper my expectations, given how hazy and unintelligible this entire situation really is.

I would say terrible source but i guess he's getting it from a Jap newspaper. Not really a huge fan of the player, but he would make a lot of sense if it's a 1 year contract to act as a bridge to Travis. Not sure he would be willing to come here for that though.

There is absolutely no merit in wasting away originality on an insignificant tick such as yourself. I don't have even an iota of motivation in doing so. Speaking of originality though, you are what, the fourth in a line of insecure twats on this forum (after CHP, Moogy and Smokey, great company by the way) to bombard me with quote notifications about how every little thing I post on this site is an unjust atrocity inflicted upon your loved ones?

 

This might be an earth-shattering revelation for you, and I'm sorry to blindside you with this if it is (truly sorry), but I really couldn't even begin trying to give a s*** about how you feel about me without falling asleep in the process.

We need Cabrera on a 1 year deal before someone else snatches him up. Then go flip Navarro for BP help. December was "early" but now it's the last week of the month going into January. Then 6 weeks Spring Training and you'd hope you have your roster set plus some invites.

I'm not "supporting clickbait hacks" by linking to the only guy that's keeping tabs on the Japanese news in a story (yes) that was given credence when AA admitted they had scouted and were interested in the player. A Japanese outlet saying that the Jays have made an offer on a guy they've been said to like is more news-like than most of the other stuff that's usually written and discussed about this team.

 

Also, I think Stoeten might unfortunately be immune to your genuinely noble crusade against s*** sports writers. His cult-like following of bearded hipsters isn't going anywhere.

I'm pretty ok at writing. Just doesn't make sense that you don't want to "waste originality" on him yet you spent the time writing that out.

Right, and I'm wondering just how long you think it takes to write a post of that length? You seem to really resent the concept of paragraphs, since this isn't the first or even second time you've made a comment on it. I don't know if maybe Twitter is more your cup of tea, but I'd rather make one post and say everything I want to say than make 15 different fragmented posts to deliver the same message. Little miss Boxy has been taking pot shots at me and making personal insults towards me for well over a year now. I'm sure if you add it all up you'll get more than 140 characters.

 

Oh whoops, another paragraph. Sue me.
