Jonzo Verified Member Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Anyone getting a flex pack? If so, where in the dome? I'm looking at the 200 level bases seats, but they start at row 4 or 5 it seems. I was hoping first row by buying a flex pack this early, guess it won't be happening. I may just kijiji a few games during the season now.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Not buying s*** until I see a better product on the field. Better invest your money in a ten year bond

I'll ask the ticket guy I go to school with on Thursday and let you know. I'll still get a 20 ticket 500 level flex pack despite the raised prices.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Wow is this authentic? http://www.kijiji.ca/v-art-collectibles/markham-york-region/85-blue-jays-world-series-ticket/1037286744?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true I'm not a collector but that seems like a pretty cool collector's item.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Looks like someone is selling tickets to the State of the Franchise meeting next week as well: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-tickets/city-of-toronto/2-tickets-toronto-blue-jays-state-of-the-franchise-feb-5/1048264668?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

Or online?
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Meh..isn't it aired on TV? Or online? No, I don't think it ever has been before. Isn't it exclusively for season ticket holders? And people who go to this get to actually talk to AA and co. I know if I went, I'd ask AA about Jesse Crain, LOL.

Does anyone know what the food is like? I could probably consume 30$ worth of beer alone.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Agreed, it would be kinda cool but at the end of the day they're going to spew the same old BS they always do in public situations.

Agreed but for 30 bucks for unlimited beer and food and the chance to shoot the s*** with Gibby after the dumb dumb questions. It's a pretty good deal.

I don't know, never gone. I didn't even know people could sell tickets to these, I went on there to look for game tickets. If I wasn't so f***ing broke right now I'd probably buy one. Have always wanted to go to one of these, and this actually feels like a year where there's a reason to attend.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Lol so true, the questions are always so bad. I bet The Dogg is there asking questions.

CrackerJack Verified Member Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 O0o that i'm interested in. Does anyone know what the food is like? I could probably consume 30$ worth of beer alone. it's held in the Rogers Centre and so the food is most of the same things that are available during games ... from hot dogs & ice cream (if ya want) to the more fancier stuff that they serve up. the beer 'n wine is a-flowin for sure.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I'm gonna see if I can grab one of those tickets to the state of the franchise thing. If I end up going, I will definitely ask or yell out "why is the payroll for this season lower than last year?"

If I end up going, I will definitely ask or yell out "why is the payroll for this season lower than last year?" no need to yell (haha) ... Beeston, Alex, Gibby are all very approachable ... the answer given might be that they want to leave themselves some wiggle room to make a big splash at the trade deadline if necessary.
