G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 FTR, I am choosing to watch provincial election coverage tonight instead of this game
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 FTR, I am choosing to watch provincial election coverage tonight instead of this game Ew.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Ew. That's how I feel about our defense and the bottom of our lineup
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 That's how I feel about our defense and the bottom of our lineup Oh i agree with you. But there's other baseball games you can watch or Monday night football. Provincial election coverage over sports. Ca mon, man. You can read about that whenever.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 FTR, I am choosing to watch provincial election coverage tonight instead of this game Hmmmmmm, seppuku seems like a more pleasant option over these two choices. I will still watch the game but this line up is really a gut-wrenching, vomit-inducing reaction to opening day lineup.

BTS Community Moderator Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 lmao @ that lineup. Reyes, Bautista, Edwin and 6 replacement-level guys.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Let's get to 4 pages today, boys!
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 just a week ago this was supposed to be the most important series of the year lol
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Yesterday's GDT of 2 pages I think was a new all-time low. Hopefully we beat that today.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 I'm going to try and make the game tomorrow, just because King Felix is pitching.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Paxton has the most clunky delivery and now he's destroying Mariners play off hopes. Playing upset in sept is what the blue jays are all about Ironic that it's Valencia securing kc playoff hopes
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 feels like thats the first extra base hit with the bases loaded all year
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Dont' these dolts know how to slide? He should have been sliding towards the outside of the bag, not the inside. A hook slide would have been the best. What a waste of a call. They will need it later.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Say bye bye to the play offs Mariners Bye bye Bye bye
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* LETS GO BLUE JAYS *CLAP, CLAP* *CLAP, CLAP, CLAP* cf We've missed these!
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 The f*** are you talking about Valencia slid like an idiot, aiming his foot to the inside part of the bag instead of the outside. It was so close that they had to waste a challenge on a fundamentally bad play. You'd think a professional player would know how to do something as basic as slide. This team is full of players that can't do the basics. That's what I'm f***ing talking about.

I not watching on TV but based on MLB gameday the Blue Jays won the challenge so they don't lose their challenge. I guess we should all start dumping on Valencia for getting a 3 run double and then scoring a run!
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 They didn't waste a challenge. If you win you keep your challenge. I still hate bad baseball and this team is full of s*** players.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I still hate bad baseball and this team is full of s*** players. With so much to complain about on this team, you want to complain about a bad safe slide. Just keep watching, I am sure the Jays can do several things tonight that are far worse. But for now, I will give the Jays credit for being ahead.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I knew it wouldn't take long for fans to give up on Pompey. After all he starting in what, his 3rd(?) game already and look at his low batting average
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Gotta love Bautista, even with his stats he unselfishly walks in a run instead of taking a wild swing at ball 4.
Jim_Ackers_balls Verified Member Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 More idiotic sliding. f***ing ridiculous.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Gotta love Bautista, even with his stats he unselfishly walks in a run instead of taking a wild swing at ball 4. He's been amazing at the plate all year. Complete hitter now more than he used to be. But many will just see fewer home runs than previous and think he's not as good.
